Blue Agave (Tequila) Tour

We loved our tour, and will go again.
Thank you,
Sherry McNair-Saskatchewan, Canada.

It was a great tour. Enjoyed your driver and host. The sights were interesting and I believe the other members of the tour enjoyed the trip as well.  We would recommend the Blue Agave tour to all visitors coming to Mazatlan!  Thanks again.

The Tequila Tour was absolutely fabulous. The factory was well maintained, the personnel friendly, and the wee tour of town was great.  The Rancho we stopped at was very interesting as well.  We even got to taste fresh coconuts a guava at the Rancho. A beautiful place.
The Tequila tasting after the tour was super Too.
I would most definitely recommend this tour  to anyone interested in the 'Making of Tequila'. It is very informative and fun.
Thank you for the opportunity, That tour is worth very penny!!!
Sincerly,
Walton Judson-California, USA.

Mazatlan Sightseeing City Tour

Sightseeing Tour Both tours were great. The sightseeing tour was kind of brief as it seemed like we arrived and left very quickly. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

We very much enjoyed the city tour.  I especially enjoyed the cathedral and the market.  Our tour guide was great.

Hola Mi Amigo,
The tour was great - my companions and I felt well taken care of during the tour and enjoyed most of the stops we made.  The only comment heard was that we all felt that the tour was from one tourist-trap shop to another, stopping in between at places we really wanted to see.
We went back to many of the places pointed out on the tour later in our trip - Gracias Mi Amigos and best wish from us Norte de Border. You may also want to check my blog for comments I made about the trip - more posting to come!
Steve Groves-Arizona, USA.

Over the past 20+ years I have traveled to Mazatlan many times and have taken the "city tour" probably 4 or 5 times.  This was the best one of all.  I loved seeing the restored old streets in "old town".  Also the local in-home bakery was a first.  Too bad we didn't get to see the cliff divers, but the low tide can't be blamed on you.  We really only got a "glimpse" of so many things, but you can't have it both ways.  Either see a lot with hi-lite" comments, or spend a long time seeing only a very few.  The cathedral interior is just gorgeous.  The outside is needing some repair maintenance, but I am sure it will get done eventually.
My only comment on the "downside" if you want to call it that, was I thought the city tour cost was 1/2 price if I also booked the round trip airport shuttle with you.  However, I got charged and paid the full price for my "on-line" reservation. (sorry, but the reservations must be made together at the same time in order to enjoy this benefit)
Thanks to our 6'5" guide.  (sorry, his name has slipped my mind.) He did a super job and his recommendation for having lunch of jumbo shrimp at
the sidewalk restaurant along the boardwalk was just as he said.  Marvelous broiled shrimp and coconut crusted shrimp and Pacifico, of course!
Thank you and will use your services again the next time!

Tour was very nice, we learned all about the city of the deer (beer).  Our only complaint was that we were dropped off in the golden zone and you were supposed to pick us back up in two hours.  We wer'nt picked up again and had to find a ride back to the ship. (sorry for the misunderstanding but cruise ship passengers are offered to be taken back to the cruise shp at the end of the tour or they can stay anywhere they want and return on their own)
Thanks

HI Ariana- We had a wonderful tour of Mazatlan with our guide, Chewy on the open air bus. He even recommended Pancho's Restaurant to us (which I had already read about and decided to go to based on another recommendation, but he confirmed it for us.
Also, he took personal time to take myself, my brother and our friends over to the famous Mazatlan ice cream stand and help us purchase it and taste excitedly.
The only thing I found confusing was where to meet the guy that came to pick us up at the cruise ship terminal. For one, I had never been there before, and based on the email, I thought the guy would be holding a sign with my name on it, right as we got off the ship. I didn't know it was in the commercial port and then a tram would take us across to the other part. Then I didn't know that we had to walk all the way through the shopping part to find him, and he wasn't that visible at first.
It would have been helpful to know all of that information if you aren't a
savvy traveler like we are. More explanation in the email couldn't hurt. (ok we have already taken this in consideration)

Hola,
We've had a really good time on the tour. We only wish we stayed longer in the real market and less, or not at all, in the other stores.
Sincerely,
Jean-Michel Richaud-California, USA.

Our tour director was good.  Too much time was spent at the shops. Perhaps more time could have been spent at the historical district.  We also missed seeing  the people flying from the poles.  Would have liked to have seen them. Overall the tour was interesting.

Copala Tour

Copala Tour Generally it was a great experience. Saw a minute side of reality and the culture. The stop at the bakery was uneventful and really didn't inspire. Beautiful country and friendly people. The guide was helpful and shared some interesting information and stories. Gene Taylor Evoucher 6294 May 24

The Copala tour was also very enjoyable, with the exception of the driver and the van. The scenic ride to Copala was worth the price of the tour. The guide was fun and also very knowledgeable. Thanks for help making our stay in Mexico memorable.

We did not actually take the Blue Agave Tour but took the tour to Copala with Chily Willy Tour guide. He is very good and we enjoyed the trip. The lunch was not very good at that restaurant up there, the banana cream pie was ok.
Warren Ahrens-Virginia, USA.

My family and I had a great time in Mazatlan. Everything that I booked through Vista Tours had gone great except during the airport transfer to our hotel, there was a man ( I forgot his name) trying to talk us into upgrading our time share by inviting us to Hotel Bonita. That wasn't a very nicer welcome. (sorry, time share people are pesky sometimes but we are not related to them at all)
As for the Copala Tour, it was great, from our tour guide, driver, the food and the places we stopped to see.
I didn't regret using your company.
Thanks a lot.
